Brighton Pride

Last week was Bread & Butter’s debut at Brighton Pride.  Not only was it a great event it was an opportunity to dust off our rollers and dress up.

Even though the sun shone all day, our rainbow lemon drizzle cake went down a storm and our saucy menu boards certainly raised a giggle or two.
Here are a few highlights of the day.

A Pitch with a View

And not a bad one at that! Kicking off the first festival of Bread&Butter season at Download 2015. And they have very kindly placed me within viewing distance of the main stage. (Ok it looks pretty small in the picture, but trust me it’s good).  We’re just across from the ticket collection and campsite shop in the disabled access campsite. Come along and see for yourself…and try one of our delicious hot chicken & stuffing sandwich whilst you are at it.

Any one for breakfast?

Try my festive ‘Pigs in blanket’ sandwich with Christmas chutney.
Best British pork sausages wrapped in streaky bacon served on chunky bread with my homemade Christmas chutney…just enough sweet and spice to compliment the organic pork. Delicious with a freshly made coffee too.

I’m serving them here at Capel Manor all day. Of you’re in the area come and try one.
